SCTA (AAA) Qualifying Tournament Weekends

Qualifying teams (2) from these weekend events go to the OMHA Championship finals. FYI - I do not like this format as I prefer the "series" format. In a series, a team may be able to recover from one bad game and typically the stronger teams emerge (as they should). In a qualifier format like this, one bad game and in fact one bad goal can wipe out an entire season of hard work. I don't care if it is easier to schedule - who is it for.

OMHA Tri-County Playdown Qualifying series (AA, A, AE) - Round Robins.

After league play, teams are divided into pools based on their order of finish (and some convoluted format) and then play a round robin in their pools to see who will advance into the actual head to head playdown series. Pools are typically 3 - 5 teams with a home and home format with either 1 or two teams advancing.
